About Me

I am a proud son of Central New York. Born and raised in Cicero, my family taught me the importance of public service from a young age. After graduating from Le Moyne College, I went to work for the State Senate, where I gained firsthand experience on how Albany makes life harder, not easier, for you. That is why I am stepping up to fight for you, your family, and generations of Central New Yorkers to come.

    Affordable Energy

In the past four years, our electric bills have gone up by double digits. The problem? Costly mandates from Albany, which have added more charges to your monthly statement and taken multiple power plants offline. That means less money for your groceries, gas, and kids. In Albany, I will work to make our energy supply more reliable, affordable, and accessible.

That means:

-Fighting for an “all of the above” energy strategy, which will lead to more increased energy supply and decreased bills

-Supporting nuclear power and increased investment for both Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generation Center and small modular reactor (SMR) technology-Standing up for natural gas, which 60% of New Yorkers use to heat their homes

Affordable Living

A critical component of the American Dream is home ownership. However, that goal is increasingly out of reach for young New Yorkers. In 2024, home construction in Central New York dropped to its lowest point since 2001. As a result, young people and families are priced out of the market, leaving New York. As a young man, I have seen too many of my friends leave our area for good. To reverse this, I will:

-Push back against any new mandates on home builders, saving buyers up to $40,000 for new homes

-Cosponsoring legislation to create a shovel-ready housing program legislation to incentivize municipalities to increase their housing stock

-Supporting bipartisan policies to create a first home savings program, which would incentivize saving for a home purchase with increased deductions from their personal income taxes

Affordable Government

Government spending is out of control. Our state budget currently stands at over $256 BILLION. And working in Albany, I have seen state spending increase $17 billion  in just three years. This path is unsustainable for New York, our local governments, and your bottom line. As your next State Senator, I will:

-Call out fraud, waste, and abuse in state government

-Sponsor legislation capping state spending increases to the rate of inflation, potentially saving billions of dollars every year

-Advocate for legislation repealing the gas tax (S2093), saving us $1.7 billion per year
